We love kids and families at Maple Grove Covenant! We want kids to have fun taking each new step in loving, knowing, and following Jesus on their own faith journey. We invite kids up through fifth grade to join us for a variety of opportunities on Sunday mornings year-round, Wednesday evenings during the school year, and for other special occasional and seasonal events throughout the year. SUNDAY MORNINGS: Kids grove

10:30 AM I YEAR-ROUND

  • Early Childhood (Birth through 5 Years). We want kids to be excited to meet God—to know that God made them, loves them, wants to be their friend, and has a plan and purpose for them. They do that through interactive Bible lessons, hands-on activities, upbeat worship songs, and lots of play with friends. Children up through 2 years are welcome in the nursery, and 3-5 year-olds are invited to “Mighty Maples.”
  • Elementary (K-5): His Kids Church. This is an upbeat experience where kids learn to live out their faith and actively participate in Bible stories and lessons through both large group and small group experiences. Kids typically start with their parents in worship, then move to their classrooms where they consistently hear about making wise choices, trusting God no matter what, and treating others the way God wants them to be treated.

We believe that when kids know who God really is, they'll trust His heart and follow His plan. KidzLife offres a place where children can discover and develop a passion for God. Through worship, teaching, scripture memorization, and a variety of fun activities, kids are taught God's Word and challeneged to grow in their relationship with Him.

This is a time for parents and care-givers of preschoolers to connect with each other while the kids enjoy music, movement, games, and snacks in our gym.






HELPING HANDS

4:00PM I LAST TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH

All ages are welcome to come and prepare our kids' classrooms for the new month!  We will be putting up lesson posters, sharpening pencils, washing white boards and tables, and preparing bins for rooms. I hope you can set aside an hour in your day and join us!

  • "Kids Grove" Volunteers serve once a month or as needed. 


    Check-in/Greeter - Greet Families at the check-in kiosk. Print name tags for volunteers & kids.

    Early Childhood - Meet from 10:30-11:30am

    • Nursery Room - leader OR helper - Cares for the babies and toddlers during the service.
    • Mighty Maples Preschool Class - leader OR helper - Teach 3-5 year olds.
    • Music Helper - Help the kids learn songs for Christmas and Easter.
    Elementary - Meet 10:50-11:30am - Kids worship with families then attend class.
    • His Kids K-5th Large Group - Tell the Bible Lesson
    • K-2nd Small Group - Lead or help with the weekly activity that follows the large group time.
    • 3rd-5th Small Group - Lead or help with the weekly activity that follows the large group time. 
    • Music Helper - Help the kids learn songs for Christmas and Easter.

  • "Kidzlife" Volunteers serve weekly OR when available. 

    • Check-in/Greeter - Greet families at the check-in kiosk. Print name tags for volunteers and kids. 
    • Preschool Helper - Help the Preschool Teacher with the activities.
    • K-5th Grade Large Group Leader or Helper - Guide the K-2nd graders in the activities.
    • 3rd-5th Small group Leader or Helper - Guide the 3rd-5th graders in the activities.
    • Snack Helper - Prep the nightly snack for the groups. 

  • Mid-week Prep - Flexible

    • Prep kids activities for the Sunday or Wednesday lessons
