Nurturing the next generation is a great privilege—and an increasingly challenging responsibility. While the primary responsibility always falls to parents, teachers and educational professionals also play a significant role. With the increasingly rapid cultural and societal shifts, the stresses on children, teens, parents, and educators is also rapidly increasing. That’s why we are offering a luncheon opportunity for parents and educators at MGCC to share what they are seeing and experiencing in their own families and educational settings. Join us following worship on Sunday, September 18, in the Library for a light lunch and a chance to share. Our desire is to have a better sense of where parents and teachers are at with an eye toward how we might better serve individuals and families both in the present and the future. Because we want parents and educators to be able to share freely, we ask that ONLY adults join the lunch. For those who might be facing challenges with childcare or getting students home after church, we suggest that one parent from each family participate in the lunch. In addition, there will be a short overview of what we offer kids and families Nursery - 12th grade. It will also be helpful if you can let us know you’re coming.
