Each October we give a special emphasis to the ministry of CROSS Services, our long-standing local partner that serves people with various kinds of food and assistance. This year's goals are to collect 4 barrels of food and $2000 with accumulated designated funds (not general operating funds), so any contributions you make will be doubled up to $2000. If we reach both goals (4 barrels of food and $2000 in contributions), we'll add another $500. Here's how you can participate. Between October 1 and October 30, bring your food contributions to church and place them in one of the barrels. Cash contributions can be made through the offering box, by mail, or online, but they must be designated to Local Outreach. All monies received during October will be forwarded to CROSS, along with the matching funds.
