“A United Church” (Acts 16:6-15). Throughout the first centuries of Church history, a number of issues were addressed in “Councils,” the first of which was in Jerusalem. As Christianity spread into non-Jewish territory, the question that arose was, “How ‘Jewish’ do Christians need to be?” Today, we’ll look at how the leaders gathered went about answering it.
