"Making a Distinction" (Exodus 8:20-9:7). The fourth and fifth plagues introduce yet another theme into the series: that God makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel. God says that he's dealing differently with Israel than with the Egyptians, emphasizing the special relationship he has with His people. It's an important difference with implications for those who follow Jesus which we dare not take for granted.
