"The Folly of 'Success'" (Exodus 7:25-8:15) With each of the first two plagues, Egyptian magicians "duplicated" the effects, but to what end? In demonstrating their own power, they simply made things worse—a pattern that Pharaoh would continue to follow his own way right up to the end. This morning we'll see the danger and consequence of failing to recognize the need for self-reflection and repentance.
