“Taking Temperatures” (Rev. 3:14-22). The letter to Laodicea might be the most familiar of the letters in Revelation 2-3. It warns against being “lukewarm,” and it describes Jesus at the door knocking. Jesus was anything but lukewarm toward us, and tonight we’ll have the opportunity to take our own spiritual “temperature” and to renew our passion for him.
