“We Are Saved.” The First Century pagan Epictetus observed that the one thing people long for more than anything is peace of heart. When the angels appeared to the shepherds on the first Christmas, they proclaimed peace. True peace comes through Jesus Christ, and it exceeds anything we can understand and it’s another reason to love God above all others.
