“Gifts that Move Us Ahead.” When Jesus returned to heaven, he expected his followers to continue the work he began in their own communities and even “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). That mandate has been passed down to us, and there are certain gifts that push is toward fulfilling it at both a local level and on a global scale. That’s the group of gifts we’ll look at first.
