“Welcome to Ephesus.” Context matters. If we picked up someone else’s letter, or read an email between people we’d never met, they could be hard to understand. As we begin our studies in Ephesians, we’ll take a short “tour” of the city, get a sense of the church there, talk about some of Paul’s main concerns, and his primary purpose for writing in the first place.
