Equipping families with the necessary tools and support so that, together, they can grow in their relationship with God

We desire for families to learn together in these 3 WAYS:

GO and share their faith with others

LOVE the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind & strength

LIVE in freedom while loving and serving others

REgather Children's Ministry

We will be starting to regather on January 10th during the 10:30AM Service. You’ll see lots of big waves, but let’s avoid hugs, high-fives, and handshakes. A reservation system is set to 50% of classroom capacity.

Like our Sunday Service, we’re taking additional steps to keep our Children’s Ministry environments safe (and fun) for your family!

  • Staff and volunteers will agree to wear face coverings. Masks are required for ages over 5 years. Please observe social distancing.
  • We encourage you to take temperatures at home prior to leaving for church. If anyone has a temperature above 100.4F please stay home.
  • We encourage you to only send one parent for drop-off and pick-up to help limit traffic in the hallways.
  • We’ve increased hygiene and cleaning protocols in our spaces during and after service.
  • All toys and hard surfaces will be sanitized before and after every service.

Here are some other important things to note about His Kids Church(K-6th):

  • Kids will meet in the gym as it is a large open area
  • Kids will still be able to sit with parents during worship and be dismissed to the gym
  • Small groups will be physically distanced

* If you love helping kids get to know Jesus on a deeper level and forming relationships with families, we've got a place for you! Email me at quinn.olson@maplegrovecovenant.org if you're interested!

We are thrilled to be able to welcome your kids again as we continue to grow their love for Jesus!

Nursery, Toddlers & Preschool

Nursery: Birth - 24 months

Saplings: 2-3 years

Lil' Oaks: 3-4 years (2 years from Kindergarten)

Mighty Maples: 4-5 years (1 year from Kindergarten)

Kids are checked in and then dropped off in their appropriate classroom. The First Look Curriculum is designed for babies through 5-years. Through age appropriate activities, children are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths: God made me, God loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

K-6th grade

His Kids Church

After kids check-in, they can sit with their families for worship in the beginning of the service. The kids are then dismissed from worship for Large and Small Group Lessons. Our curriculum, 252 Basics is based on one of three basic, but powerful truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52: wisdom - I need to make the wise choice, faith - I can trust God no matter what, and friendship - I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Awana and TREK

Awana Online

This is a personal family-lead experience where kids will work on their Awana handbooks at home and parents will be responsible for tracking their student’s progress and awards. To help you out as much as possible the supplies and resources will be provided. When the student’s complete their current book, let MGCC Children’s Ministry Director, Quinn, know and we will make sure you get the all the awards needed.

If you need any books or supplies, please reach out to

AWANA is a fantastic opportunity for our church and parents to work together to develop children and youth into strong leaders who faithfully follow Jesus. Leaders and kids will dig into God's Word with scripture memorization, learning Bible stories, and having a blast singing fun songs and playing games .

  • TREK | 5th and 6th Ministries

This new program challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they’re asking in middle school (5-6 grade): Who am I? Why am I here? Who’s with me?

By allowing students to dive deep into the Scriptures and answer these questions for themselves we allow them to own their faith and discover what they actually believe.
